Dr. Lorenzo M. Orsini is the R&D Director at Alkeemia, European leader for the product of Hydrogen Fluoride and relevant products. He achieved a PhD degree based on the development of Fluorinated materials for surface modification at University of Pisa. After an experience as assistant researcher at Virginia Commonwealth University, he spent 10 years in the flexible packaging industry developing new technologies and products. As R&D Director in Weylchem Italy, he had the opportunity to work in the field of fluorination organic chemistry for segments as Agrochemicals, Pharma, Performance Materials and Electronics as contract manufacturer. He’s a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt and Design for Lean Six Sigma Black Belt. Today, he’s supporting the development of HF downstream business through the implementation of new fluorinated product portfolio related to the energy storage sector and innovative fluorination technologies.

Safak Aktekin has been an integral part of CHEP since 2014, holding a variety of key roles within the organization. In 2018, he ascended to the position of Senior Director of Commercial for CHEP Automotive and Industrial Solutions, headquartered in Germany. In this pivotal role, Aktekin is leading the sector's transformation, expertly overseeing customer portfolio strategy, and driving innovative business development initiatives. Before joining the CHEP team, he had over a decade of experience in logistics, serving in multiple capacities at a leading company in the industry.

Ms. Norheim currently serves as Executive Vice President, Corporate Public Affairs and Sustainability of FREYR.
She previously served as FREYR Battery’s Executive Vice President, Human Resources, Sustainability and Communications. Prior to joining FREYR, Ms. Norheim was with Spencer Stuart and also held executive roles at Norsk Hydro and Equinor, serving as Chief Sustainability Officer and SVP Reserves & Field Development. Ms. Norheim has also held the positions of Senior Advisor in the Office of the Prime Minister of Norway and State Secretary to the Prime Minister and the Minister of Finance.
Ms. Norheim holds an M.Sc. in Economics and Business Administration from the Norwegian School of Economics and Hochschule St.Gallen in Switzerland.

Luciana Rendace is a Senior Project Manager for Drive Sustainability, a collaborative platform of 18 automotive companies, facilitated by CSR Europe. She is responsible for the area of responsible sourcing of raw materials – there she supports the setup and promotion of common standardized tools and methods for sustainable sourcing management and the implementation of impact key projects. Previously, she worked as a Knowledge Management Consultant at UNDP Tunisia, in the Access to Justice programme. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Political Sciences and Middle Eastern Studies and a Master’s degree in International Development from Sciences Po Paris.

Iola is Research Manager at Rho Motion working on electric vehicle, battery, charging and energy storage market analysis, and has been with the company since its inception. She leads the company’s research into the stationary storage market and battery demand. She holds a Masters Degree in Geophysics from University College London.

Greg Pitt is Vice President of our battery materials growth team. He works to identify key growth areas and technology advancements within the battery materials market. His early career began in the automotive and manufacturing industry, over 20 years ago. But during the economic downturn in 2009, he left to join a consulting company in Australia that specialized in infrastructure. Two weeks after he joined, he discovered that the company had been acquired by Worley. That was 13 years ago now, and we are proud of him still growing his career here. He works to set our strategy and steer the business into the most valuable parts of the market. It´s a lot of spinning plates, but tremendously exciting.

Mr Thompson has over 30 years’ global experience in the geoscience, technology and mineral industries and 20 years in public company leadership and capital markets. Mr Thompson founded Talga and previously founded and served on the Board of ASX-listed Catalyst Metals Limited. He is a member of the Australian Institute of Geoscientists, the Society of Economic Geologists, and the Society of Vertebrate Paleontology.

Marijanti is the Country Head for Serbia as of March 1 this year. In this role she is accountable for all external facing engagements of Rio Tinto in country (not only external affairs, but also academia, NGO / CSO, media communications, communication with local community, international donors, etc). She joined the Jadar Project in 2019 and was the Senior legal counsel for Borates and Lithium before being promoted to Country Head. As part of her previous role she has had exposure in various segments of RT Minerals business (RBM in South Africa, CDK in France, Boron and Wilmington in the US and Rincon in Argentina). 
Marijanti gained her university degree in Law in Macedonia and soon afterwards moved to Serbia. Her professional career started at the end of 2006 when she joined reputable law office Prica & Partners, starting from scratch. During her engagement there she gained vast experience, passed her bar exam and progressed to Junior Partner. She was invited to join Big 4 company EY in June 2015 and there had the responsibility to set up the EY Law team and for business development in Serbia, Montenegro and Bosnia. 
She has been married to Milos for 18 years and has a 9 years old son - Nikola.

As CEO of Circulor, Doug has 25 years international experience as an Executive and Non Executive Director, operating in TMT, Financial Services, IT and Management Consultancy sectors. 
His leadership experience spans roles in large corporates (Barclays, BT, Serco, AIMIA), scale-ups (Cadence, ISD) and start-ups (Circulor, Snapdragon). 
He has broad functional experience with consistent themes being innovation (both new product and to drive transformation), delivering growth and regulation.

Mr. Petr Palkovsky is a seasoned mineral exploration and specialty chemicals executive. In 1986, he founded an environmentally-friendly specialty chemicals business, which developed water-based chemistry to replace oil-based solvents in the paint industry. He took the Company public in 1999, which was then one of the largest IPOs in Canada. Petr began working in the Balkans in 2009, exploring the Vardar Zone with the world's leading sedimentary geologists. Today, Mr. Palkovsky and his company, ELB+, is developing one of the largest deposits of Critical and Strategic minerals known globally in Serbia.
